DESCRIPTION:The Orchard Park Community Activity Center\, located at 4520 California Road\, will host a community blood drive on Saturday\, January 9\, 11 am – 4 pm. The drive is being conducted by ConnectLife and all blood collected will stay local\, helping nearly every hospital in Western New York’s eight counties. \nDonations will be accepted by appointment only. To schedule an appointment\, please email OPCAC@orchardparkny.org\, call Sue Hemingway at 716-662-6400 ext. 4520\, or visit connectlifegiveblood.org and use the code 000686 to find the August 1st blood drive in Orchard Park. \nDonating blood is safe. To practice social distancing\, all donor wait chairs\, screens\, beds\, and refreshment chairs are placed 6 feet apart. All surfaces will be sanitized between every donation. ConnectLife asks that all blood donors wear a mask when presenting to donate to respect others and to keep everyone safe. If you do not have a mask\, a disposable one will be provided to you during your donation. \n \n
